Dream And Create

Can You Hear It?

The Tick, Tick, Tick

of time slipping

from the 'Now' into

the past....

How are we spending the precious moments of time that have been placed into our life's account? There are 86,400 seconds in a day, each day they slip into the past never to be experienced again. At some point (if we haven't) we need to start spending these moments wisely.

I don't care how much money you have, you can't buy time, we each get 1,440 minutes to make good things happen. Your looks, your education or the lack thereof, even your ethnicity has nothing to do with how many minutes you get. God has given each of us 24 hours to get it done. What is your 'IT'?

It's time to live in your now! Don't live in the past it's gone. Don't live in the future (by all means plan for it) just realize that the future is not here yet.

Live in the now, don't keep saying things like:

  • I'll start tomorrow

  • I'll take care of it next week

  • Once I get everything right, then...

"Never put off for tomorrow, what you can do today."

Aaron Burr

When we are given the opportunity to create we should take advantage of it. Creating things can give you a sense of satisfaction.

It does not make a difference what medium you decide to work with, it could be wood, paint, clay, fabric, beads, paper, or maybe even words.

Gather your supplies or go to the store, find time to allow your creativity to flow. You might surprise yourself.

When trying something new there can be a bit of hesitation. Doubt can creep into our heart and mind if we allow it. So don't allow it! Step out in faith don't be afraid to try something different. Even if your IT seems to turn out wrong it could possibly be something great.

Do you know that there have been some amazing creations/discoveries that were accidents or mistakes?

 Here are a few:

  • Penicillin,

  • The Color Mauve

  • Wheaties

  • Saccharine

  • Even the Pacemaker makes this list

What's inside of you waiting to come out?

Set it free!

I'd love to hear about your creations.
